If you’re a new player in Kingshot, especially during Generation 1, there are a few hero skills you should focus on early to build a strong Town. These are the most important ones:
- Saul’s Resourceful skill
- Diana’s two Expedition skills
- Chenko’s Stand of Arms skill
- Blue Heroes’ Expedition skills
1. Saul’s Resourceful Skill (Top Priority)
This is the most important early-game skill. It lowers building costs and boosts construction speed by 3% to 15%, depending on the skill level. Since it’s a passive skill, it’s always active—whether Saul is in town or out marching.
Make sure to unlock Saul early and level him up as soon as you can to max out this skill. That 15% construction boost really helps when you’re just starting out and later in the game.
2. Diana’s Expedition Skills (Easy to Max Out)
Diana is one of the easiest Epic heroes to max thanks to the Desert Trial Event. You should focus on her two expedition skills:
- Iron Constitution – reduces stamina cost for rallies and marches (10% to 20%)
- Quick Paced – increases march speed significantly (20% to 100%)
Both skills apply to any march or rally she’s part of, which is super helpful in events like Defeat Nearby Beasts, Cesare’s Fury, and Desert Trial. You’ll save a ton of stamina and move much faster, especially in stamina-heavy events like Cesare’s Fury.
3. Chenko’s Stand of Arms Skill (Long-Term Value)
Chenko is great even in late game. Her first expedition skill, Stand of Arms, increases all troop lethality by 5% to 25%. If you’ve seen my Rally Guide, you’ll know that when you join a rally, your first hero’s first expedition skill is added as a bonus to the rally.
So if you send Chenko to join a rally—like during Beat Hunt—her Stand of Arms skill kicks in and helps deal way more damage to the Raging Bear. It makes her super useful for rallies in lots of different events. When you have extra skill books, prioritize upgrading this one.
4. Blue Heroes’ Resource Skills (Optional but Helpful)
There are 4 Blue Heroes in Kingshot that help with resource production:
- Olive – Bread
- Forrest – Wood
- Seth – Iron
- Edwin – Stone
Their skills boost either gathering speed or passive resource output by 5% to 25%. If you’re actively gathering, level up their gathering skills. If you’re more of a laid-back player who depends on idle income and event rewards (like from Bear Hunt), focus on their output skills instead.
Really nice guides guys, and useful content for new players, keep it up with the guides!!
