Tri-Alliance Clash is an event in Kingshot where three alliances fight to capture buildings and earn points. The alliance with the most points after a one-hour battle wins. The battle phase takes place on Saturday during the chosen time slot.
The battle has 4 stages: Preparation (3 minutes), Seize & Conquer (17 minutes), Garrison Occupation (20 minutes), and Temple Onslaught (20 minutes).
- First, there’s 3 minutes of prep.
- Then the Seize & Conquer stage starts. Here you can capture your own buildings and also move into enemy territory to take their smaller buildings (except Garrisons — they stay shielded during this stage). This part lasts 17 minutes.
- Once the total time hits 20 minutes (3 prep + 17 seize), the Garrison Occupation stage begins. Now the Garrisons open up and can be captured. Garrisons are important since they give +1800 points per minute, which is 3x more than a Cluster of Ruins.
- Temple Onslaught (20 min): At the 40-minute mark, the Temple of Tides becomes available. This one is the center and gives massive first-capture points and solid holding points, making it a key objective in the late game.
Now that the basics are clear, let’s move on to strategy-making using the Tri-Alliance Clash map.

The Tri-Alliance Clash map is split into three sections, and your alliance can start in any one of them. Each alliance begins at their Headquarters (A1, B1, C1).
At the 20-minute mark, the Garrisons (A24, B24, C24) unlock. These are important because they give way more points than regular buildings. You need to defend your own garrison and, if possible, try to take your enemy’s.
Another set of key buildings are A29, B29, and C29. These are valuable because they connect to two Transit Hubs on your side, which are the only way to send marches to the Temple of Tides in the final 20 minutes. If the enemy captures one of these buildings, you’ll lose access to the Temple, which can cost you the match. So make sure to defend them and recapture them quickly if they’re taken.
Event Strategy
Registration & Setup
The first step is registration. Make sure you only register members who will actually show up. If you register inactive players, it hurts matchmaking and leaves you short-handed during the battle.
It’s also important for R4s to be there. R4s assign Captains to captured buildings, and Captains regenerate way more energy than normal players. That extra energy is huge for pushing or defending.
Set up a Discord voice chat before the event. Talking in real-time makes it way easier to coordinate strategies than typing in chat. At the very least, get your alliance leaders in voice so they can manage the fight.
Hero Selection
For this event, you’ll need to choose 3 pairs of heroes (9 heroes total, or 3 squads). Pick your strongest heroes and avoid ones like Diana, since she doesn’t have battle skills, as well as the Blue heroes.
Build one squad with your absolute strongest trio to use against the toughest opponents. For example:
- Gen 1: Amadeus, Jabel, Saul
- Gen 2: Amadeus, Hilde, Marlin
Energy Management
Energy is everything in this event. You need it to move, conscript, revive, retreat, and attack. It regenerates slowly over time, but Captains inside buildings get a big boost. That’s why it’s so important to assign them early.
Stage 1: Seize and Conquer (First 17 Minutes)
At the start, quickly occupy all buildings on your side and secure the Transit Hubs. These are your lifelines for defense and for moving into enemy areas.
Your main goal in this stage is to have the highest points per minute by defending your own buildings while also stealing a few from the enemy.
Team Setup Example:
- Attack Team – pushes into enemy territory, captures buildings, and later aims for enemy Garrisons.
- Defender Team 1 & 2 – protect key routes and defend your Garrison.
- Floaters – backup team that helps where needed, either supporting Attack Team or reinforcing Defenders. They conserve energy so they can react quickly.
Stage 2: Garrison Occupation (20 Minutes)
Once Garrisons open (A24, B24, C24), defending yours is critical since it gives +1800 points per minute. Losing it can flip the score fast.
At the same time, your Attack Team should try to capture the enemy Garrison to gain a point advantage before the Temple phase starts.
Floaters step in wherever needed—either reinforcing defenders or helping attackers.
Stage 3: Temple Onslaught (Final 20 Minutes)
At the 40-minute mark, the Temple of Tides opens. First capture gives a massive 50k points, so your Attack Team should rush it.
While holding the Temple, Floaters can cut off enemy reinforcements by taking A29, B29, or C29 (the buildings that connect to the Transit Hubs leading to the Temple). Cutting these off reduces pressure on your team. But watch out—the enemy can try the same thing to you, so defend your cutoff buildings.
General Tips
- Save buffs (from pets and city bonuses) for this event.
- Use the conscript button (little heart + icon near march bar) to heal troops. You can only do this when no battle is happening, so time it right.
- If you’re badly wounded but your team has enough players in the building, retreat to the previous building, heal, then come back. This is much better than dying and respawning all the way back at HQ.
- Balance your teams: make the Attack Team slightly stronger, but also put solid players in Defense.
- Defenders score fewer points—that’s the sacrifice. To keep things fair, leaders can rotate team roles in future events.
Why is the total number of ruin clusters different for each team?
Ruin Clusters (600/min),
A has 3: A13, A21, & A29
B has 5: B13, B21, B22, B23, & B29
C has 4: C21, C22, C23, & C29
That’s how the map is designed. C and B each have 5 Ruin Clusters (you missed C13), while A has 3.
What’s the best setups/heroes for the 3 Formations? P2W & F2W
Start by arranging your heroes from highest to lowest power. Put your top 3 heroes of each class in the first formation, then your next best 3 in the second, and your third best 3 in the last. Just skip Diana and Blue heroes, even if they’re in your top 9.
